If you're a developer or someone who deploys apps often, you'll love Dokploy. It's a self-hosted, open-source Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) that makes deploying and managing applications and databases incredibly easy.

My Experience with Dokploy: I recently gave Dokploy a try, and honestly—it's impressive! You can deploy almost any application in minutes. No complicated setups, no endless scripts.

Here's what I noticed: - Recommended Server Specs: At least 4 GB RAM and 2 CPU cores for smooth performance. - I tested it on 4 GB and 16 GB VPS servers. Both worked, but… - On the 4 GB VPS, CPU usage can spike—especially during deployments or updates. - On the 16 GB VPS, everything runs perfectly with no lag.

What I Deployed: I tried a Laravel stack with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Horizon for queues. It was super smooth—far easier than my old setup where I used custom Docker + Traefik scripts. Before, even with pre-written scripts, deployment took a lot of time. With Dokploy, everything feels fast and automated.

Some cool features I love: - Easy domain connection - Built-in Traefik for SSL and routing - Real-time monitoring - Automated backups (a must if you host databases inside Docker) - CI/CD with GitHub – just connect your repository and Dokploy can automatically pull updates and redeploy your app whenever you push new code. No manual steps needed!

Things to Keep in Mind: - Dokploy can be resource-hungry. It creates many Docker images, so you'll need to clean up unused ones from time to time. - Always set up backup systems, especially for databases, in case your VPS goes down.

Final Thoughts: If you're building an MVP or small-to-medium projects, I highly recommend Dokploy. It saves hours of setup, integrates with GitHub for smooth CI/CD, and makes deployment a breeze—even if you're not a Docker expert.
